Terms and Conditions
Payment Procedure
A student paying any part of their fees by cheque must allow 3 to 4
working days for a bank draft to clear. Before the cheque or draft
has cleared, the student is not eligible to claim any action from
the Admissions or Administration departments with regard to the
application for which the student has made the payment.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Registration:
- In case the Institution deny the admission to the
student based on our required criteria i.e. marks,
scores in GD and Presentation full refund of the
Registration amount i.e. Rs 5000.00(Rs. Five
thousand only) or $125.00(USD).

In case the student is offered the admission, and
the student does not join, then there will be no
refund of registration fee.
- Admission:

In case the student joins and deposits the fee and
later wants to leave the collage for any reason, no
fee will be refunded except refundable security.

In case the Institution terminates the admission of
the student due to not adhering the Institutes rules
and regulations during the session, no fee will be
refunded except refundable security.
Tuition Fees
Overseas students applying from abroad must pay all of their
tuition fees prior to their enrolment in the College. Students
can pay in pre-approved instalments, in accordance with the
instalment plan offered to them by the Admissions Department.
The College reserves the right to suspend or expel students from
College or prevent them from attending classes, without any advance
notice, if their fees are in arrears.
Course(s) Cancellation
The College reserves the right to cancel any advertised courses at
the College due to insufficient admissions or enrolments. The
College authorities may, due to very low attendance making it
impossible to continue teaching a given class, cancel affected
classes, courses or programmes.
Attendance
A record of attendance is kept for each student. All students are
expected to attend classes in accordance with their timetable and
required number of hours for their course. The College reserves the
right to bar a student from examinations and withdraw them from
their course if the students attendance record shows that they have
attended fewer than 80% of their scheduled classes. In such cases,
no fees will be refunded to the student.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances that prevent the student
from attending their classes, the College must be informed
immediately to seek advice on how best to handle their situation.
In the case of an illness that prevents the student from attending
their classes for five consecutive days or more, the student will
need to present a Medical Certificate to the College to avoid being
marked absent for the classes they have missed. Extra classes may
need to be scheduled to teach the material covered during the period
of illness or otherwise. The College reserves the right to pass some
or all of the extra cost for these classes to the student.
Students who do not arrive at College to complete their enrolment
and commence their classes in time for the start of their course
inform the College in advance of their situation and acquire an
appropriate extension on the start of their course. Late students
who do not fulfil these requirements will be deemed to have absented
themselves from their classes and may be expelled from the College,
in accordance with the Colleges regulations on non-arrival.
Punctuality
Teachers will report latecomers to the Administration Department on
a regular basis. Habitually late or absent students may be required
to explain in writing the reasons for their inability to keep their
Academic Performance Record in order. The College reserves the right
to suspend or expel such students, without any liability whatsoever
to the College.
Study Hours
Full-time students are expected to attend daytime classes for 15-21
hours per week, Monday through Friday, depending upon their
curricula. Students of Information Technology courses may be
required to spend additional time at College outside of their
classes given the nature of these courses.
Books and Stationery
The College will assist students in acquiring recommended textbooks
and relevant materials at reasonable cost. Some reference material
is available in the Reference Suite for consultation. Students must
arrange to acquire and read the required textbooks and course study
materials prior to the relevant class. Students should also arrange
to purchase such stationary as may be needed for their studies.
Examination Entry
Only those students who complete their attendance requirements, do
not have any pending financial dues, are not barred from examinations
by the Administration Department due to disciplinary or other
misdemeanours and have no failings or discrepancies in their
academic record are allowed to take periodic examinations for their
course, provided their Head of Department has recommended that they
take such exams.
Where applicable, the student must seek and obtain a certificate of
eligibility from the appropriate professional institution and pay
the registration fee to the respective body directly. When requested,
the College will inform, counsel and assist students in negotiating
different external examination entry procedures. However, it is the
responsibility of the students to keep themselves informed and
prepared for such examinations as recommended by the College and to
register with these authorities as Student Members well in time.
Students will be expected to pay all student examination and
membership fees. The College does not charge any fee for helping
students in this regard.
Personal Conduct
The College imposes a strict code of conduct on its students. Dr.IT
Business School expects its students to behave as responsible and
mature individuals and to act within the moral and legal norms of
society whether they are on College premises or otherwise. The use
of recreational drugs, alcohol or tobacco products are prohibited on
College premises. Students are required to attend all lectures,
classes and tests and to submit written work as required by
lecturers and tutors.
Changes and Amendments
The College reserves the right to amend advertised course content,
tuition fees and start dates for its courses at its discretion and
without any prior notice.
The College reserves the right to change the advertised examining
body for any or all of the courses offered.
The College reserves the right to conduct classes in any of the
College premises, including temporarily hired or rented rooms.
The College reserves the right to amend or alter its prospectus at
its discretion and without any prior notice.
The College reserves the right to amend or alter any or all of
these Rules and Regulations at its discretion and without any prior
notice.
